3D Modeling & Printing: Action Figures! (Ages 9-16)
Kids love action figures! Toy figurines are representations of whatever fascinates them, from a favorite cartoon character, to a creature they have dreamt up. With 3D printing, kids now have an opportunity to bring their creations to life. Using intuitive 3D modeling software, kids will design a computer model of their creation and then "print" it out into a real world object made of ABS plastic using our 3D printer. It's a cool time to be a kid!!!

|
3D Modeling & Printing: Inventions! (Ages 9-16)
Inventions! Kids will explore engineering and what it takes to create your own product. With 3D printing, kids now have an opportunity to bring their creations to life. Using intuitive 3D modeling software, kids will design a computer model of their idea and then "print" it out into a real world object made of ABS plastic using our 3D printer.

Introduction to JR. FIRST Lego League Robotics Competition (Ages 6-9)
Focused on building an interest in science and engineering in children ages 6-9, Junior FIRST® LEGO® League (Jr.FLL®) is a hands-on program designed to capture young children's inherent curiosity and direct it toward discovering the possibilities of improving the world around them. Just like FIRST® LEGO® League (FLL®), this program features a real-world challenge, to be solved by research, critical thinking and imagination. Guided by adult coaches and the Jr.FLL Core Values, students work with LEGO elements and moving parts to build ideas and concepts and present them for review.

Introduction to FIRST Lego League Robotics Competition (Ages 9-14)
FIRST® LEGO® League is an international program that introduces children to the fun experience of solving real-world problems by applying science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM). Guided by adult mentors and their own imaginations, FLL participants solve real-world engineering challenges, develop important life skills, and learn to make positive contributions to society.
Every year, a new challenge is unveiled to FLL teams across the world, requiring teams to strategize, design, build, program, test, and refine a fully autonomous robot capable of completing the various missions of the FLL International Robot Game using LEGO® MINDSTORMS® technology. Teams also search the web, talk to scientists, visit the library, and develop compelling presentations that relates to a problem or opportunity facing the world today.
When children build and experiment, they live the entire process of creating ideas, solving problems, and overcoming obstacles.

Introduction to the FIRST Tech Challenge (Ages 13-17)
The FIRST Tech Challenge (FTC) is an exciting robotics competition designed for high school students from grades 9-12 (typically ages 14-18) and 8th grade students 13 years and older who are prepared to participate in a high school program. FTC is designed for those who want to compete head to head, using a traditional sports model. Teams of up to 10 students are responsible for
designing, building, and programming their robots to compete against other teams. Team members, are required to develop strategies and build robots based on sound engineering principles. Kids also apply real-world math / science concepts and develop problem-solving, organizational, and team building skills. Participants are eligible to earn a place in the World Championship and can qualify for nearly $9.7 million in college scholarships.
